Some guidelines when buying yarn for these sweaters:

• We use at least 2 different types.
• We use mostly natural fibers and if possible natural dyes.
• Be glad if the shop runs out of your dye lot.
• Switch color for one of the yarns anytime during your knitting.
• Keep switching yarns the whole way through.
• Don't make it too warm or too heavy.
• Try mixing stretch, shiny, and stiff yarns together.
• Do not blend yarns before knitting.

Yarn & Needles Required:
1.5 lbs. natural linen, silk, rayon, cotton or merino

Size 8 & 9 US circular needles for a gauge of

20 sts = 4".  Worsted weight as final knitting medium.

This pattern comes with only "3" buttons, not "4" as shown

in the photo.
