A wanna-be crochet wrap for knitters, Daphne uses stitches easy to master for all levels; the tricky part is learning to adjust your tension so that you will achieve the right amount of openness in the garment. Use of the Continental Style is highly recommended because it makes the knit and purl stitches placed into the yarnovers of the previous row go so smoothly. Once this stitch pattern is learned, it's easy to make this pattern in a sensuous kidsilk mohair for the cooler months.

Desiree is constructed in pieces that joined together either by picking up sts or grafting. We will begin iwith the 2 sleeve cable panels, pickup sts along edge, knit a few rows in the round, then put these aside for the grafting to the sleeves later. In order for the cable patterns to have correct alignment, there are separate patterns for right and left cuffs.
